Connor's New Sleeping Arrangements

So, Connor has decided that he now wants to sleep in his shark tent every night.  I guess it's kind of cute, and he does stay in it all night long, so I don't have a problem with it. . . however, I think that secretly, maybe even subconsciously, he's just trying to get out of making his bed in the mornings!

Also, this summer. . .

We also went to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Ventura this summer!  However, for some reason I didn't take many pictures.  Connor and I flew there and then about a week or so later, Mike drove and met us for a few days.  Staying with Jason and Gina is always a good time!  The weather is beautiful (definitely cooler than here in AZ), and the company is good, too!  And, oh, yeah, Connor really likes the beach and the ocean!

Vacation with the Pietrzaks

In June we went to La Jolla, CA with Max, Shenta, and Scott.  It was a quick trip, but a ton of fun!  We visited Sea World, walked down to Seal Beach, played on the beach in San Diego and had a crazy birthday dinner for Scott!

Girls' Weekend - Westin Kierland Resort

Yes, usually, we sneak away to Vegas for a long weekend of spa treatments and cabannas. . . but, this is has been kind of a crazy year, so we figured it doesn't matter where we spend our weekend, so long as we get to spend time together, catch up, laugh, maybe cry a little, and try to find some sanity in this crazy world together!  Robin, Michelle, Shenta and me

Our Anniversary Weekend Getaway

Mike and I went to Sedona to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary in May.  It's not often that we get to spend an entire weekend by ourselves. . .(thanks Mom and the Pietrzaks for entertaining Connor for the weekend).
